Microlino heads to France
The Pioneer version is limited to 999 units and, like all Microlinos, is powered by a 12.5 kW electric motor. The battery has a capacity of 10.5 kWh, which should allow a range of up to 177 kilometres.

The Swiss automotive company Micro Mobility now offers its all-electric lightweight vehicle Microlino in France, with the first vehicles to be delivered in the coming weeks.

The small electric vehicle is already available in Germany and Switzerland.

After a launch event in Paris, the Swiss company is now taking orders in France and plans to start deliveries there shortly.

The “bubble” electric car will initially roll into Paris, Lyon, Monaco and Fréjus.

The Microlino, which the carmaker describes as “the ideal mix between motorbike and car”, has already been available in Germany since April, with base prices starting at 22,690 euros.

Now the Pioneer version of the small electric car can be purchased in France with prices starting at 22,990 euros.

The Pioneer version is limited to 999 units and, like all Microlinos, is powered by a 12.5 kW electric motor.

The battery has a capacity of 10.5 kWh, which should allow a range of up to 177 kilometres.

Vehicles in this edition come with a 2.6 kW onboard charger ex works. AC charging to 80 per cent battery level takes four hours, according to the manufacturer.

The vehicle is available in Atlantis Blue or Torino Aluminium Matt – with 13-inch Continental tyres with hubcaps in white or black. Other standard features include Bi-LED headlights, a central touch display, a digital speedometer and a sunroof.

After the Pioneer Series, the automaker will be offering two more battery variants with 6 and 14 kWh, enabling ranges of 91 and 230 kilometres, respectively.

Micro Mobility produces the model itself.

For this purpose, the Swiss company founded a new business unit for production in Italy with production partner CECOMP as a minority shareholder.

The company moved into a production facility in Turin in August 2021.

According to earlier information, production capacity is to level off at around 7,500 vehicles per year, with the possibility of further increasing the production rate.

About a month ago, Micro Mobility announced the production of the 1,000th Microlino at the Turin plant.
